Extreme Invaders, Arcade game. 2014

The game was exhibited during Swedish election time at The Year of Elections 2014 exhibition, Gallery Studio 44, Stockholm.

Extreme Invaders aims to expose the growing popularity of far right political parties in Scandinavia and Europe by cracking the programming code of the popular arcade game from the 80’s, Space Invaders, and replacing the invaders’icons with the logos of Sverigedemokraterna, The Finns Party, Fremskrittspartiet, Dansk folkepartiandthe National Front.

After successfully completing one level, an advertisement slogan that these parties used in the last European elections is displayed, letting the player know about his/her next mission.
